Not much to look at but i must admit... I am very happy I was able to get five pages done for Eyeskream's Bizzaro Week.

It was a lot of fun.

And I'm pro-fun.

Quick catch up...

I participated in "Hour Comic Day"...
(It was super fun, and harder than I thought.)

Bought three more USP compact mags...
(Brings the total up to seven now! Woo!)

Continuing to save for a new Backpack...
(Kelty Coyote 4750... I desperately need for my next trip!)

Lived through a huge Storm...
(Quarter sized hail, huge winds, tornados missed us, but pray for the ones it didn't. )

Bought some heat resistant shooting gloves...
(On sale! Take THAT retail prices!

Read "I Am Legend"...
(It was pretty good.)

Saw "I am Legend"...
(Left me wanting more... maybe I hyped it up too much.)

Watched "the Kingdom"...
(Oh how it rocked!)

Saw "Blade Runner: The Final Cut" on the BIG Screen...
(Oh yeah... it was awesome! And the sound was sooo cool!)

Planning our next hike in the smokies...
(And saving up the money.)

Lost my Gerber Evo Jr. Knife...
(Ughhh... I loved that knife! Oh well save up for another.)

Katt got me a new burner for Christmas...
(Stove burner for backpacking that is.)

Grant Bond Comic Book Artist extroadinare sent me some goodies...
(Hardback "Revere"... autographed with a cool original drawing inside, the single issues, a button, and a "Save Archibald" T shirt! Double "Woo" to the "Hoo!")

My Sister and her Husaband got us an XBOX 360 for Christmas...
(And Halo 3! Do they ROCK or what!)

Got to see my sister and nieces...
(Not long enough... but oh so glad they could fly down!)

I still have a few loose ends to finish up on the redesign of the "SM" site. But I can't keep tinkering with it forever. I'm tired of this code crap and ready to start getting back to drawing comics.

New domain and everything.

It fills good to have a fresh start again. It was a good break, and it gave me some time to think about the direction an dlook at different ways to do "Suspiciosu Minds" over all.

Plus I have some neat ideas to work in as well.

My only down side was losing my old "WCC-Forum". I have a new one now...

The old forum was like... I don't know... family.
We weren't the biggest, but we were diverse. In both ages and nationalities. Which has been great! We had almost hit 8,000 posts in less than 3 years. And no major sshouting matches. Everyone got to say their part, and was respected for their opinion. We didn't agree on everything but we at least we heard each other out. Something seldom seen now a days of name calling and shout downs. <sigh> But i digress....

Basically the new comic is up...
And now it's time to enjoy a bit of just drawing and updating again!

My idol is gone... but not forgotten.

This just doesn't seem real. Like it is one big mistake.

Uh... no not that "peace"...
"Peace" from the Film Wizards.

I had a few minutes and was hopping around DeviantArt member's page, being amazed at the awesome talent around about me as usual... when BAM! Out of the blue I stumble onto a redition of one of my most beloved characters of all time... PEACE!!! (Wooooo 2 the HOOO!!!)

The guy who did it is called "~RoboWorks" and the title is "Wizards 2.0". I have added it to my favorites, so you can se it there. But I suggest looking at his other stuff as well. I would provide a iink here... but with my luck I would end up opening a portal to another dimension by accident... AGAIN!

Anyway...

This drawing is awesome! The film was Awesome! It really fired me up to want to see the film again. I won't go into alot of psycho-nonsense about the characters suggestion of the duality of man, how direction and purpose can change and the contrast of waring for peace... uh... oops. Sorry. Guess I just did.

Uh...

Where was I? Oh yes... This thing is awesome. It really makes me to want to start drawing some of my own versions of "PEACE" now!

So I guess you could say ~RoboWorks art has done exactly what art is suppose to do. Inspire us look longer, think harder, and want to do more.
